Vintage Belgium Dinanderie Biettlot Hand Forged Brass & Copper Double-Handled Vase

This item is made of cast or beaten copper and its alloys, more particularly brass. Another term for items like these is ‘Dinanderie’, a word that is derived from the name of the town of Dinant on the River Meuse, a centre of high-quality brassware production since the 13th century. 

This stunning  Dinanderie vase has twin brass handles attached to either side and has a short pedestal base and fluted rim.

The vase is stamped underneath Dinanderie Biettlot, Made in Belgium, B, 137.

In beautiful vintage condition and will only require a light polish.
