The Story

The item is a RC (Noritake) Japanese fine porcelain tea trio in the Westwood pattern. The Westwood pattern has been used to decorate porcelain wares by both Royal Doulton and Royal Ceramics, Japan between 1960 and 1979. RC is a brand name used by Noritake.

As mentioned, the item is a vintage fine porcelain tea trio consisting of the cup, saucer and tea plate, all manufactured between 1960 and 1979 in Japan under the Royal Ceramics name used by Noritake. Each item is decorated in the Westwood pattern (769) which displays gold trim along the rim and a continuous band of leaves and berries displayed as though being on a vine. The tea cup handle is also adorned with gold trim.

Each item is stamped underneath Royal Ceramics RC Japan 769 Westwood.

The trio is in very good condition with no damages noted.
