The Story

Regency Bone China was a trade name introduced by British Anchor Pottery Co Ltd in 1952. The firm also used the trade name Montmartre, Richmond, Hostess and Trianon. British Anchor Pottery Co Ltd was established in 1884 and was taken over by The Gailey Group in 1970. This is a vintage fine porcelain tea plate manufactured under the Regency Bone China trade name between the 1950’s and 1960’s. The tea plate and saucer have an elegantly scalloped rim decorated in gold trim as well as a lovely gold gilt scroll and star patterning along with a blush pink band around the centre highlighted in gold trim.

The items are stamped underneath Regency Bone China, Made in England.

Both items are in very good condition with no visible damages.

Tea plate height of rim: 1.4 cm, Diameter of base: 8.5 cm, Diameter of rim: 15.5 cm

Saucer height of rim: 2.5 cm, Diameter of base: 6.3 cm, Diameter of rim: 14 cm
