The Story
Aloe is a brand name of Hendler & Hart Pty Ltd. The firm was established in 1892 as Hart & Co producing lighting. In 1913 Hendler & Hendler was then established by Hart & Co. In 1923 the firm began to manufacture cookware etc. items for which it is today known. In 1989 Hart Ltd. and Hendler & Hendler were merged to become Hendler & Hart Pty Ltd. In 1993 the firm was sold to Lenco Holdings although continued to operate under its original name. In 2017 a partnership was entered into with Groupe SEB, a large French consortium which oversees their Tefal and Krups distribution in SA.
This item is a stainless steel tea pot which has a capacity of one-and-a-half pints. The tea pot has an open spout and double handle with a bun shaped finial.
Stamped underneath Aloe Stainless Steel 18/8 1.1/2 PT.
The tea pot has some feint surface scratching due to use, but is still perfect for use.
