Solid & Heavy Little Vintage Silver Plated Butter Dish With Original Lid & Glass Liner

Used for butter or relishes, this vintage item is a silver plated dish together with its original lid and removable glass liner. The dish itself has an extended rim decorated with repousse craft feathers edge motif and a plume / shell pattern on each corner while the lid is decorated in a matching pattern which frames a ball finial handle in the center. The removable glass liner has a star / sunburst cut pattern underneath.

The dish is not marked or stamped.

The dish, lid and liner is in very good vintage condition, although it requires a good polishing.
