The Story

Enoch Wedgwood (Tunstall) Ltd was formed in 1965 but roots of the company reach back to 1835 when Podmore Walker & Co was formed. Enoch Wedgwood was one of the owners symbolized by & Co.
In 1860 "Wedgwood & Co" was formed, which existed under that name until 1965. In 1980 it was taken over by Josiah Wedgwood & Sons, who renamed the company Unicorn Pottery.

This item is a small jug decorated in deep copper countryside imagery with a copper band beneath the rim within.

The jug is stamped underneath Old Castle Made in England, which was a trade name used by Enoch Wedgwood.

Aside from feint age related crazing, this little jug is in very good vintage condition with no damages noted.

Height of rim: 6.4 cm, Diameter of base: 2.8 cm, Spout to handle: 7.4 cm
