Rare Collectable Set of Miniature Greek "Venus" Handmade Porcelain & Brass Perfume Bottles

This is a rare collectable set of 4 miniature vintage perfume bottles that was handmade in Greece.

Two of the bottles are identical consisting of a white glazed porcelain body with brass rim and brass lift on/off lid with white porcelain donut finial and a solid composite material applicator attached underneath the lid. The perfume bottle itself has been decorated in a colourful variety of Greek nymphs, all dancing while each piping on a flute, together with deer before a mythological Greek god seated on a throne holding a goblet. The bottles are further decorated with the use of gold trim. These are the liquid-type perfume bottles.

Height with lid: 6.4 cm, Height of rim: 4.2 cm, Diameter of base: 2.4 cm, Diameter of body: 4.2 cm

The third bottle is a solid-type perfume bottle. The bottle also consist of a white glazed porcelain body with brass rim and brass lift on/off lid with white porcelain donut finial and a sealant attached underneath the lid. The bottle is also decorated with gold trim and depicts a similar Greek décor as the first two.

Height with lid: 7 cm, Height of rim: 3 cm, Diameter of base: 3.5 cm, Diameter of rim: 2.6 cm, Diameter of body: 5.4 cm

The fourth bottle is also a liquid-type perfume bottle but differs from the rest of the set as it has a pair of brass tone scroll handles attached and stands upon a brass tone pedestal base. The decoration differs with colourful imagery of a Greek nymph seated astride a dolphin among a school of dolphins with a cupid/cherub reaching out to her. The bottle is also decorated with gold trim.

One of the bottles has a label: Venus Serie Perfumes, Greek Production, Pallini Attiki, External Use, Handmade Greece.

All the bottles are in very good condition with immaculate detail in the decoration.
