
The Story
A set of 6 identical vintage silver plated coffee spoons, each handle stamped with a generic EPNS mark, which is a version utilised by the variety of cutlery manufacturers which existed in the Sheffield area prior to the 1950’s.
The spoons have all been manufactured with the Somerset handle design, which was originally first created by Samuel J. Large in 1914 and adopted by different cutlers afterwards.
Stamped underneath EPNS.
All 6 spoons require some polishing, but is in very good condition.
Length: 11 cm, Width of bowl: 2.4 cm, Width of handle top: 1.2 cm
