1936 - 1954 Vintage W.H, Grindley & Co., Tunstall, Deco Ware Cream Petal Shape Porcelain Biscuit Plate – Bolton Pattern

The back stamp on this item indicates a manufacturing date by W.H. Grindley & Co., Tunstall, between 1936 and 1954. The item is a vintage porcelain biscuit plate decorated with silver trim along a scalloped rim and prominent green linear deco patterning with black. The rim also has embossed scroll motifs used directly beneath the rim itself and on the two extended handles. The pattern is considered deco and is titled The Bolton pattern.

The biscuit plate is stamped underneath Cream Petal Grindley England.

The plate has some fading of the silver and green trim and a small flake chip underneath the rim (please see picture), aside from which the plate is in good usable vintage condition.
