The Story
Designed and released under the Royal Petal range with Marlborough shape, a porcelain tea duo manufactured by Grindley between 1940 and 1959 when this particular pattern was discontinued. Theduo consists of the tea cup with mild graduation together with the matching saucer, decorated with colourful Kingfisher birds and floral patterning. The saucer has a scalloped rim while both items are mildly fluted along the sides.
The items are each stamped underneath Marlborough Royal Petal Grindley England.
Both saucer and cup are in very good condition and there are no damages noted.
Saucer height: 2.2 cm, Diameter of base: 4.5 cm, Diameter of rim: 14.6 cm
Tea cup height: 7 cm, Diameter of base: 3.8 cm, Diameter of rim: 8.5 cm
