1936-1954 Vintage W.H. Grindley Cream Petal Porcelain Lidded Vegetable Tureen – Janique Pattern

Manufactured by W.H. Grindley between 1936 and 1954 under their Cream Petal range, the item is a lidded porcelain vegetable tureen decorated in the Grindley Janique pattern, which displays tan scroll work with swag around deep blue with a tan linear band along the rim within the tureen as well as around the edge of the lid. The tureen has handles with dark blue trim and a gentle scroll handle on the domed lid, which is also decorated with blue and gold.

The tureen is stamped underneath Cream Petal Grindley England.

The bowl has slight fading of the blue on the pattern within, aside from which it is in excellent vintage condition with no other damages noted..
