1932 Rosenthal Bavarian Fine Porcelain Isolde Series Pitcher / Jug – Floral Band With Gold Trim

The Isolde series was manufactured by Rosenthal Selb-Bavaria displaying a variety of patterns until its discontinuation during the 1960’s. This particular pattern depicts a colourful floral band displayed beneath the rim and a prominent gold added as trim around the rim, along the art deco styled handle and a linear framework along the spout. A gold band has also been placed between the floral pattern and the rim.

The item is a collectable piece of Rosenthal history at it is marked as made for the Meyer-Buck Sohn & Co. in Zurich.

The jug is stamped underneath in green Rosenthal Selb-Bavaria, Isolde TH Meyer-Buck Sohn & Co. Zurich.

A restored chip exists on the inside of the spout rim (not visible from the outside), aside from which the jug is in very good condition.
