The Story

E, Brain & Co. Ltd were manufacturers of porcelain at Foley Works, Fenton from circa 1903 to 1963. Elijah Brain took over the Foley China Works from Robinson & Son in 1885 but continued to use the mark of "Robinson & Son" until 1903 when they used their own mark.

The use of the name 'FOLEY'  were extensively used on many different marks to 1963, with and without the initials 'E. B. & Co,' or the name in full.
